Members of the Association

Structure of the Association
The structure of the Somali Engineers Association (SEA) is hierarchical and consists of four main levels.
Board of Trustee [Founders]
Provides foundational guidance and safeguards the long-term vision of the Association.
General Assembly
The main deliberative body composed of all members of the Association.
Central Committee
Coordinates major initiatives and links the General Assembly with the Executive Committee.
Executive Committee
Responsible for implementing decisions and managing the day-to-day affairs of the Association.

The Executive Committee of the Somali Engineering Association (SEA) is composed of distinguished professionals dedicated to guiding the organization towards achieving its mission and vision. Each member brings valuable expertise, ensuring SEA remains at the forefront of engineering excellence and innovation.
The committee is responsible for strategic decision-making, overseeing key initiatives, and fostering international cooperation to advance the engineering profession in Somalia.
Chairman of the Executive Council
Provides overall leadership to the Executive Committee and ensures alignment with the Association’s mission and vision.
Secretary General
Oversees day-to-day coordination, documentation, and communication across all levels of the Association.
Head of Financial Department
Manages budgeting, financial planning, and transparent reporting for all programs and activities.
Head of Education and Training
Leads capacity-building initiatives, professional development, and continuous learning opportunities for members.
Head of Research and Development
Drives innovation, research projects, and evidence-based recommendations for engineering in Somalia.
Head of International Relations and Cooperation
Builds partnerships and collaborations with regional and international engineering bodies.
